We are pleased to confirm that Arthritis Action has received £9,960 in funding from the Coronavirus Community Support Fund, distributed by The National Lottery Community Fund, via Government allocation.
The money will be used to help us continue providing Online Groups for those living with arthritis across Britain, helping people remain connected. The National Lottery response funding aims to support projects and organisations playing a vital role in helping their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Groups are held over the video-conference app Zoom, allowing people to join virtually, from their own home. They offer a safe and friendly environment for people living with arthritis to speak with each other, learn from one another and share their stories, questions and tips, as well as information on how to better manage the symptoms of arthritis through healthy eating, therapies, mindfulness, exercise and pain management.
Visit our Events page to discover the next Online Group taking place in your area. All Groups are free to attend and are open to people living with all forms of arthritis.
