We welcome the release of a new video with results from European and British Study REUMAVID, which looked at the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on people with rheumatic and musculoskeletal conditions, including arthritis.
The REUMAVID study was performed in collaboration with 14 patient organisations across Europe, including Arthritis Action, NASS and NRAS. The research aimed to raise awareness of the health and wellbeing consequences of the management of rheumatic diseases during the pandemic, and help to support future management as the crisis unfolded. The results highlight that the impact of the pandemic can not only be measured by the number of COVID-19 cases, but also by the number of people whose healthcare has been neglected due to stretched resources.
You can now watch the new video below, or visit the REUMAVID project website to find out more about the research.
