Arthritis Action welcomes the Government’s proposed reforms of NHS elective care, which were announced on Monday 6 January.
The new plan pledges to reduce waiting times, improve patient access and care, particularly for those waiting for orthopaedic surgery, and has the potential to improve the lives of over 10 million people in England, living with arthritis.
We will be following closely their implementation along with the NHS 10 Year Plan, to be launched in the Spring.
