Arthritis Action has joined 68 other charities in signing a joint letter to the Prime Minister ahead of the Spring Budget 2017. The Letter calls for a new settlement for funding health and care, describing the current pressure on health as “not acceptable or tenable”.
The signatories also call on the Government to reaffirm its support for the Five Year Forward View and to prioritise person-centred and community-focused approaches to health and care.
The letter was signed by leads of a broad range of health and care charities and supporters, members of the National Voices Network. You can view a list of signatories and the full copy of the letter on National Voices website here.
The Spring Budget is scheduled for 8 March 2017.
