We have launched our 2021 Christmas Appeal to raise funds for vital support for people living with arthritis in the UK.
This year’s campaign focuses on equipping people with self-management tools and helping to bring them closer together with others living with arthritis. This comes at a time where enforced social distancing, consecutive lockdowns and the impact of the pandemic has left a lot of people facing loneliness and hardship.
We’ve worked hard to reduce the social isolation felt by those living with arthritis during this time. Our services and Group meetings continued online throughout the pandemic, with 4 in 5 Group attendees reporting an improved sense of control over their arthritis.
Discussing the past year, our Member Tom said: “Lockdown has come with a lot of emotion, shutting the world out to feel safe. Arthritis Action’s support during lockdown helped connect me with people in my area, to share support and friendship when activities are limited. Nobody should face arthritis alone.”
You can show your support and help us improve the lives of everyone affected by arthritis, by making a £20 donation today.
