The World Health Organisation (WHO) have updated their guidelines on physical activity and sedentary behaviour for adults.
The guidelines detail the recommended levels of physical activity for adults aged 18 – 64 years, and are applicable for all adults irrespective of gender, race, ethnicity or income level. The new guidelines are available on the WHO website.
Information on the importance of exercise for people living with arthritis can be found on our website, while a number of chair-based exercises can be found on our Resource Centre, designed as part of a programme to help people with arthritis and other musculoskeletal conditions to become more active.
